What is Nose Surgery?
Nose Surgery, or Rhinoplasty alters the appearance and proportion of one’s nose, enhancing facial harmony and self-confidence. An incision is made inside the nose with no outside scar, allowing Dr. Hakki to work from the inside out. The procedure reduces the hump in the nose, bringing the sides of the nose together making it both thinner and giving it a well-defined tip.
As the most central part of the face, a large, deviated, or disproportionate nose will dominate the face and attract unfavorable attention. An attractive nose is aesthetically pleasing and allows the observer to pay more attention to a person’s eyes, lips or cheekbones. After the rhinoplasty procedure, the nose will be unobtrusive and in harmony with the rest of the face. Changes in the appearance of the nose have a profound effect on the facial aesthetics. Removing a large dorsal hump or making the nose somewhat thinner and smaller can dramatically improve one's appearance.
